Woodlawn is our home. We've invited friends to share it with
us and now our friends come back year after year.

Our family-oriented resort with beautiful grounds provides ample space for recreation. Swings, teeter-totters, jungle gym, merry-go-round, glider, digger-in-a-sandbox and tot toys can be found in large, shaded playgrounds. Horseshoe pitching, basketball, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, video games, foosball and pinball machines accompany our recreation center. Hydro bikes, paddleboats, kayaks and canoe are available for rent. Enjoy the water slide into the shallow, sandy, roped-off swimming area. Two challenging golf courses and tennis courts are located a short distance from Woodlawn.

For your convenience, we have a small line of groceries, bait, tackle, ice, postcards, caps, T-shirts, and firewood. In addition, we have boat and motor rental, boat launching, and lifts for rent. Life jackets and fish freezing service are also available.

Seven Cottages are equipped for housekeeping ... quiet, cool, comfortable, private and individual, where the tired traveler can stretch out in complete relaxation away from the hubbub of everyday life.

Of the seven units, two are single bedroom cottages, four have two bedrooms and the largest unit has three bedrooms. Two of the unites have screened-porches, ideal for

enjoying the evening lake breezes. Five of the unites have open decks.

Modern vacationing cottages are complete with automatic heat, gas ranges, electric refrigerators, showers and soft water. Dishes, silverware and bed linens are furnished. Please bring your own dish towels, bath towels, beach towels, clothes hangers, and fans.

Our campground features 30 spacious campsites in a cozy, wooded area. Each site is furnished with a picnic table and fire ring. Cold drinking water, electric hookups, shower building with flush toilets, mirrors, plug ins and sanitary dump are available for the campers convenience. The primitive camping area is perfect for tenters wanting privacy and nature at it's best.

The fisherman's highlight to a great vacation is a ride on the Woodlawn Wagon. Rides are given to fisherman with lunker walleye, northern , small mouth and large mouth bass, crappie or perch. The Wagon is pulled around the camp, sirens blaring, flashing lights bells ringing heralding the fine catch with the fisherman sitting in he throne. Smiles and cameras are definitely plentiful.

Woodlawn Resort is located on Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood, Minnesota. Lake Minnewaska is the Minnesota's 13th largest lake, fed by springs and stocked by the State Fish Hatchery, located on its shores. Our lake is inhabited by all varieties of fish: walleye, northern, large and small mouth bass, perch, crappies, bluegill sunfish and bullheads.

Woodlawn Resort and Campground is appropriately named ... wooded grounds with well-kept, cool green grass. Is is located on the north shore of Lake Minnewaska, off highways 28 and 29, on County Road 54, 2-1/4 miles west of Glenwood and 6 miles east of Starbuck. I-94 makes Woodlawn easily accessible to the Twin Cities area.
