Local Event: Glenwood Waterama Waterama is held in the last full weekend in July. This year's event takes place from July 25th to July 27th on the nearby shores of Lake Minnewaska. The event features a variety of parades such as a 100-unit parade, a kiddie parade and a lighted pontoon parade. Other activities include water shows, pageants, dances, sporting events, running races and a fireworks show.
